
My Bio
Tammy Williams is a cultural preservationist, healer, and creative strategist dedicated to helping women reconnect with legacy, land, and lineage. A native Angeleno with deep Louisiana roots, Tammy is the founder of Cultural Tours LA AAH and Co-Executive Director of the View Park Historic District Preservation Project. Her work bridges history, healing, and heritage—offering travel consultations, spiritual readings, and cultural storytelling for women seeking joy, identity, and deeper connection.
Tammy currently serves as a board member of the Friends of the Louisiana State Archives, supporting statewide historical initiatives. She has collaborated with the National Park Service to document Civil Rights history at Second Baptist Church in Los Angeles, a pivotal site in California’s Black freedom movement. Her work has received national recognition through partnerships with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, under the leadership of preservationist Brent Leggs.
Before her preservation work, Tammy was a professional international dancer, opening for Eartha Kitt, performing across Europe, and appearing on groundbreaking shows like A Different World and The Arsenio Hall Show. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Social Anthropology from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Whether guiding women through ancestral discovery, creating her Kitty Frequency Readings, or hosting the podcast LA’s Black Heritage Talk, Tammy is committed to helping others reclaim their stories, restore spiritual sovereignty, and pass on a legacy of beauty, resilience, and belonging.
